About
My journey into counselling has been influenced by both personal and professional experiences. I've experienced divorcing parents, bereavement, burn out, career changes, low mood, impact of menopause, challenges of relationships - all part of the messiness of life.
I've worked with a wide range of people navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, bereavement, ADHD and OCD.
I am an integrative counsellor, trained in a number of approaches including person-centred, integrating creative methods to help expression and processing of experiences. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) how I work is also guided by their ethical framework.
I value seeing the world through different perspectives, and provide both an inclusive and neurodiverse-affirming space.
My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding - your experiences are unique, and I will work collaboratively, with you, to explore what feels right for you.
(Note: My work with OCD and ADHD is integrative and person-centred, not specialist therapy)
